Sets herself up as the dog for everyone else to kick. Kicks herself first before
anyone else can do it, thinking that it will save her from further grief (it doesn’t).
Both fancies and hates Guy. Suzanne has many extremely positive qualities: Energy,
Creativity, Innate Decency, compassion for the underdog; but she is as ashamed of
her virtues as she is of her faults, hiding them all beneath a shell of clownish,
nerdish behaviour. A gentle and non-confrontational person, she is still no coward
when push comes to shove. |
