Romania is the third largest eastern European country. It has the population of about twenty-three million people,
and was the last country to join the Roman Empire. The Romanian people descended from the Ancient Romans. Their
national currency is the leu. The largest city is Bucharest - the sixth largest city in the European Union (EU) and the
